Spring Break, The White River, and Flood Damage

Over spring break the wife and I went to Northern Arkansas to stay in a cabin along the White River.  Recently they have received over 12 inches of rain, which left most of the region flooded.  The picture below shows a campground with 6-8 inches of mud and silt left from the flooded Sylamore Creek in Mt. View, Arkansas.

Despite some major damage on the White River Flood Plain, there are still some beautiful sights to see in Northern Arkansas!  The following pictures were taken in Blanchard Springs Caverns, part of the Ozark-St. Francis National Forests.
